Refund policy

The short version

  • Windows, license key not activated yet: full refund if you ask within 14 days of purchase.
  • Windows, license key already activated: no refund.
  • Android: handled by Google Play under Google's refund rules, not by us.

RF View Basic is free on both platforms, so you can try the app before you buy anything.

Why activation is the line

On Windows, RF View Pro is unlocked by a license key. The moment you enter the key in the app and press Activate, the full set of Pro features opens and the key is tied to your device. Software like this cannot be handed back the way a physical product can: a key that has been used cannot be un-used, and if refunds were possible after activation, anyone could use every Pro feature they needed and then ask for their money back.

Before activation nothing has been delivered yet: you hold a key that has not been used. That is why we can refund it fully.

So: please do not activate the key until you have decided to keep Pro. If you are unsure, use the free Basic version first. If you bought by mistake, or Pro is not what you expected, write to us before you activate.

Refund before activation (Windows)

You are eligible if:

  • you ask within 14 days of the purchase date,
  • you bought directly from our Lemon Squeezy store (rfview.lemonsqueezy.com), and
  • the license key has not been activated. Lemon Squeezy records the activations of every key, so we can check it. A key counts as activated if it was activated at any time, even if it was deactivated again afterwards.

To ask, email sangclim48@gmail.com with the subject "Refund Request – RF View Pro" and include:

  1. The email address used for the purchase
  2. The order number from your Lemon Squeezy receipt
  3. Optionally, the reason (it helps us improve)

We refund the order and disable the key. Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days and returned to the original payment method; your bank may need a few more days to show it.

After activation (Windows)

Once a key has been activated (even if you deactivate it again later), the purchase is final and we cannot refund it, whether you have used Pro for a day or not at all. Activation is also what lets you move the license: you can deactivate it on one computer and activate it on another (up to two devices at the same time), see the contact page.

Exceptions

  • The key cannot be activated because of a fault on our side that we are unable to fix. This is not a change of mind: we will refund the order. Write to us first so that we can help; most activation problems are solved quickly.
  • A duplicate purchase of the same product by mistake is refunded.
  • Your rights under the law where you live are not limited by this policy.

Android

RF View for Android is free. Pro on Android is an in-app purchase handled by Google Play, so refunds follow Google Play's refund policy and are requested from Google.
