Privacy policy

This policy covers the RF View apps for Windows and Android and the website rfview.com, operated by Gonggan1001 ("we", "us"). Questions: sangclim48@gmail.com.

The RF View app

The app works locally on your device.

What we do not collect: the SNP files or measurement data you open, usage telemetry from the app, your location, or any other personal data beyond what is described below.

Purchases. Pro is sold through Lemon Squeezy, which processes the payment and collects your email address. We receive only your email address, to deliver your license key. Android purchases made in the app are handled by Google Play under Google's own terms.

License activation. When you activate Pro and when the app starts, it contacts the Lemon Squeezy license API to validate your key. Your device name and IP address may be included in that request, as with any network request.

Storage. Your license key is stored encrypted on your device. We do not keep license keys or personal data on our own servers beyond what Lemon Squeezy retains.

The website rfview.com

Hosting and logs. The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard server logs (such as IP address and requested page) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Analytics. The website keeps simple daily counters of page views and of clicks on the download, Google Play, Buy Pro and product buttons. A counter only goes up by one: we do not store your IP address, a visitor ID or any other identifier, and we set no cookie, so these counts cannot be linked to you. The website does not use analytics cookies or any third-party tracking tool at the moment. We learn how the site is found from Google Search Console, which reports search statistics to us without setting cookies on your device. If we ever add visitor analytics that uses cookies, we will say so on this page and ask for your consent first.

Advertising. At the moment the website shows no ads. We may show ads from Google AdSense in the future. Before we do, we will add a consent banner where the law requires one (for example for visitors in the EEA and the UK), and we will update this page. Google and its partners may then use cookies to serve and measure ads, and you will be able to manage ad personalization in your Google Ad Settings.

Affiliate links. Some articles contain Amazon Associates links (see the affiliate disclosure). We count clicks per product and article, together with the referring site name. We do not store IP addresses or any identifier of the visitor for this count. Amazon applies its own privacy policy once you visit its site.

Email. If you write to us, we use your message and email address only to reply and keep a record of the support request.

Third parties

Lemon Squeezy (payments and licenses), Google (Play and Search Console; AdSense if we show ads), Amazon (affiliate destination), Vercel (hosting) and Supabase (storage of aggregate click counts and site settings). Each handles data under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to, correction of or deletion of the personal data we hold about you (mainly your purchase email address) by writing to the address above. For data held by Lemon Squeezy, Google or Amazon, please contact them directly.

Children

RF View is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top.
