How to Download and Install RF View

How to download and install RF View on Android: Google Play Store link, minimum requirements (Android 6.0+), file size, and first steps to open your first S-parameter file.

RF View is Free on Google Play

RF View is available completely free on Google Play. No account creation, no subscription, and no in-app purchases required for the core features that most RF engineers need.

Installation Steps

  1. Open Google Play Store on your Android device
  2. Search for "RF View" or search for "space1001 rf view"
  3. Tap "Install" — app size approximately 25–30 MB
  4. Open RF View — the S-Parameter Plot tab opens by default
  5. Load your first file: tap the folder icon → navigate to a .s2p file → select to plot

From your Android browser, visit Google Play or scan the QR code on the RF View homepage to go directly to the app listing.

First Steps After Installation

  1. Download a sample .s2p file: visit Murata SimSurfing.com → search any inductor → download .s2p
  2. Open RF View → S-Parameter Plot → load the .s2p
  3. Switch between S11, S21, VSWR, Smith chart views
  4. Tap BW Marker → auto-reads bandwidth
  5. Open Matching tab → tap Auto Match → see one-click matching network design
